PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of shellfishes which can effectively utilizes the shellfishes as a cement raw material with small labor at a low cost in a short time without using special large equipment for treating the shellfishes, while suppressing the generation of offensive odors. SOLUTION: The treatment method of shellfishes comprises a process for accommodating and sealing the shellfishes in a bag comprising an inner bag made of a synthetic resin sheet having a thickness of≥150μm and an outer bag comprising two or more layers of kraft paper, a process for carrying the bag in which the shellfishes have been accommodate to a cement kiln by preventing the bag from being broken but keeping the sealing state, and a process for feeding the bag in which the shellfishes have been accommodated into the cement kiln 2 as the cement raw material. The bag in which the shellfishes have been accommodated is fed into a charging port A installed in the bottom of the cement kiln 2, or into a charging port B installed in a temporary calcination furnace 3, and burned in the kiln 2 together with cement raw materials 5 to be a part of the component of cement clinker 9.
