PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and cooling apparatus capable of heating and cooling at desired different temperatures in a plurality of heating and cooling chambers. SOLUTION: The jacket parts 3, 4 of reaction kettles 1, 2 are connected to a means 14 for supplying a heating fluid and a means 5 for supplying a cooling fluid. The upper parts of the jacket parts 3, 4 are connected to an ejector 12 through an upper communicating pipe 18 and a sucking pipe passage 17. The upper communicating pipe 18 is provided with control valves 21, 22 respectively. The heating and cooling temperatures of the jacket parts 3, 4 can be respectively controlled at different temperatures by the amounts sucked into the ejector 12 corresponding to the open degrees of the control valves 21, 22.
