An information display device (1) includes an information carrier (10) having a storage-type display panel (14) separately from a processing unit (20) having a battery (27). When information displayed on the display panel (14) is to be updated or processed, the processing unit (20) is connected to the information carrier (10), so that a desired process can be performed. Accordingly, a constituent member other than a member maintaining "display" as the function inherently necessary as a display device near to " paper" can be disconnected from the information display device (1) when used normally. Consequently, it is possible to realize an information display device having user-friendliness capable of replacing the paper. |
