<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device which receives information related to enlarging processing to be applied to the video being displayed, from the external and subjects the video to enlarging processing, based on the enlarging region and/or the enlarging rate indicated by the received information. <P>SOLUTION: When a zoom key 30 is operated by a user while video signals recorded in an HDD 20 are reproduced by a display device 2, the video processing device 1 receives an execution instruction of enlarging processing to the video being reproduced. A control section 10 makes the display device 2 display a display picture so as to successively urge inputting of the enlarging region and the enlarging rate in the enlarging processing for which an execution instruction is received and receives the inputting of the enlarging region and the enlarging rate by the operations of the keys of a remote controller 3 by the user.
