PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head capable of accurately grasping a detecting part provided on a cavity unit and its assembling method in order to highly accurately position an actuator and the cavity unit. SOLUTION: In the inkjet head 1 equipped with the cavity unit 10 having a nozzle 11a and a pressure room 23 corresponding to it, and a actuator 12 laminated on its back face and capable of selectively driving the pressure room 23, the cavity unit 10 is provided with an opening part 62 as a detecting part 60 on a cavity plate 21 forming the pressure room for positioning with the actuator 12, and this detecting part 60 is provided as an upper end opening part 62 of a through-hole 61 penetrating through the cavity unit 10 in the laminating direction. A light irradiated from the nozzle plate 11 side passes through the through-hole 61, and the opening part 62 is imaged by an image receiving apparatus 82.
