PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite image free from registration displacement by correcting automatically and almost in real time, the fluctuating registration displacement of respective images obtained from a plurality of image acquisition means. SOLUTION: A corner edge extraction means 13 extracts corner edges from a first image acquired by an image acquisition means 11 as feature points to generate a first feature point list, and a corner edge extraction means 14 extracts corner edges from a second image acquired by an image acquisition means 12 as feature points to generate a second feature point list. A corner edge correlation means 15 calculates a parameter for correcting the out of registration from correlation between the two generated feature point lists. According to the parameter, a registration correcting means 16 corrects the second image to perform registration matching on the basis of the first image, acquires a registration-corrected image, and an image composition means 17 composites the registration-corrected image with the first image.
