PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plate heating apparatus for hot press capable of heating the metal plate to a high temperature in a relatively short period of time, and preventing oxidation of the surface of the metal surface in the heating mode as much as possible. SOLUTION: The heating apparatus is provided with: lower heat transfer bodies (12, 14) which have heating faces (12a, 14a) to be brought into surface-contact with the lower surface of a metal plate and transfer the heat of heat sources (13, 15) to the metal plate via the heating faces; and an upper heat transfer body (22) which has a heating face (22a) to be brought into surface contact with the upper surface of the metal plate and transfers the heat of a heat source (23) via the heating face. The metal plate is held between the heating faces (12a, 14a) of the lower heat transfer bodies and the heating face (22a) of the upper heat transfer body, and heated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
