A dynamic password authentication system and the method thereof generate a dynamic password, which changes with time by the dynamic password security arithmetic installed in the SIM card of the user mobile phone. The technology improves the security of the identity authentication effectively, and avoids the trouble for the user to remember the secret key and change the secret key frequently.
