<p>Steam is produced from a soln. of water and salt in a plastics container with an orifice and plastics top cover for filling, by heating with two electrical resistances in a L-shaped plate in the lower part of the container. The flow of steam is projected over the fabric to be treated through two horizontal apertures in the upper part of the container, directed perpendicular to the garment by a triangular plate situated over the apertures, the whole being held in vertical position by a handle.</p> |
