Known control systems utilised in zoned heating systems take one of two forms, these being centralised or distributed control systems. The former suffers from problems, eg the need for high reliability connections. The latter also suffers from problems, eg reduction in boiler efficiency and impact of loss of control signal. The invention therefore provides a temperature control system (10) comprising a plurality of output controllers (16,18), and means for providing a synchronisation signal to provide a common start reference for output cyclers of the output controllers (16,18) so as to allow a respective temperature control device (20,22) to be activated or deactivated by one of the controllers (16,18). <IMAGE> |
