The system has mediation modules (MM1, MM2) adapted to convert data in a received interaction message in the format of web browser and representing an operation to be effected on a non-internet application, into activation data comprehensible to a determined non-Internet browser. The modules are adapted to contact the non-Internet browser so that the non-Internet browser accesses the application to effect the operation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) communication equipment for a Internet protocol communication network (B) an Internet server for an Internet network.
