Surface mounted fixture has a detection unit (104), e.g. infrared radiation sensor, and a mirrors system (106) for deviating infrared radiations between fields of vision and the unit (104). A grid (112) is made of material that is opaque to the radiations detected by the unit (104) and has openings (113) respectively traversed by the fields of vision. Pellet-shields (115) are on the grid in a removable manner for blocking the openings.
