BURIED OBJECT INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience for acquiring the information of a buried object in a field.

SOLUTION: When a pile information reading instruction is inputted from a user, a portable terminal 2 reads pile information from a position display pile 1 and displays free information such as buried object existence information included in the pile information on a display part 24. When a detailed information acquiring instruction is inputted from the user, the portable terminal 2 accesses a center system 5 and issues a detailed information acquisition request including a pile identifier included in the read pile information. The center system 5 retrieves a buried object data record having the pile identifier included in the detailed information acquisition request from a buried object database 52, transmits the retrieved record to the portable terminal 2 as detailed information and performs charging processing to the user of the portable terminal 2. The portable terminal 2 receiving the detailed information displays the buried state of a buried object indicated by the detailed information on the display part 24.
