<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for a motorcycle with excellent linear advancement stability and turning characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A belt 12 of the tire is provided with a first belt ply 28; a second belt ply 30; and a third belt ply 32. The first belt ply 28 is provided with a first code 34. An angleαof the first code 34 relative to a circumferential direction is 15°to 40°. The second belt ply 30 is provided with a second code 38. An angleβof the second code relative to the circumferential direction is 15°to 40°. The second code 38 is inclined reversely to the first code 34 relative to an equatorial surface. The third belt ply 32 is provided with a third code 42. The third code 42 is helically wound and is substantially extended in a circumferential direction.
