PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying vehicle capable of smoothly traveling forward and backward and changing speed by the operation of an operation handle, enabling even an unskilled person to easily operate, and having good controllability. SOLUTION: When a main operating handle 14 is pulled forward, the carrying vehicle rocks in a forward upper direction by using a spindle 22 as a fulcrum. While a guiding roller 25 at the lower end of the main operating handle 14 rolls in a transmitting lever 30, the transmitting lever 30 rocks in a forward direction at an upper part together with a coupling fitting 35 by using the lower end thereof as a fulcrum. The lower surface opening end of the coupling fitting 35 is pressed against an acting lever 31 so that the acting lever is warped, and a compression force and a tension force are generated in a distortion detecting sensor 37A and a distortion detecting sensor 37B, respectively. Therefore, these detection outputs are compared, and according to a difference thereof, the speed control and rotating direction control of a driving motor of the driving wheel 8 is carried out by a driving circuit.
