PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of causing noise and dust in cutting corner tiles and valley tiles in the field, which is not desirable. SOLUTION: Start dimensions in starting to tile the lowermost stage of tiles laid laterally on a sheathing roof board with a ridge corner part or a valley part are optionally determined, and based on the determined value, the cut dimensions of the first corner tile or valley tile to be laid are computed for every stage. The tiles are cut in a factory based on the cut dimensions to prepare the corner tiles or valley tiles. The prepared corner tiles or valley tiles are brought onto a roof in the field and laid from one end on the sheathing roof board for every stage. The bottom side dimension of the corner tile or valley tile in each stage at the end of laying is measured, and based on the measured value, the cut dimensions of the corner tile or valley tile at the end of laying are computed for every stage. Based on the cut dimensions of the corner tile or valley tile, tiles are cut in the factory, and the corner tiles or valley tiles are brought onto the roof in the field and laid in the end positions for every stage.
