In a control valve particularly for vehicle brake systems an actuated transmission member 10 acts to first close off the connection between the return port 12 and the working port which communicates with space 11 and thereafter moves closure member 4 off the seat 3 to connect the space 11 to an accumulator port 13. Pressure fluid flow to the space 11 acts on the closure member 4 particularly shoulder 15 together with the bias of spring 5 to oppose the input force on member 10. In a modification the spring 9 acts between the transmission member 10 and a closure member mounted with lost motion thereon to engage on the opposite face of a seat engaged by the closure member 4.</p> |
