<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information management system which can improve safety, efficiency and durability of the system. <P>SOLUTION: An information file having a file name, in which a plurality of attributes of image information of an image file is divided by delimiter characters, and connected mutually in a predetermined sequence, is classified into a plurality of directories including directory name comprising at least a part of a plurality of attributes of the image information of the image file. The medical information management system includes a recording device 100 which stores the information file; a retrieval key reception section 201 which receives a retrieval key; a retrieving path forming section 207 to form a retrieving path based on the retrieval key; a retrieval file name generation section 209 to generate a retrieval file name based on the retrieval key; a file retrieval section 211 for retrieving the information file of the directory from the recording device 100 using the retrieving path and the file name; and an information extract section 215 which extracts the image information which is indicated by the file name of the information file acquired by the file retrieval section 211. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
