<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for an electric double layer capacitor which improve the operability of the capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: According to the manufacturing method for the electric double layer capacitor, a laminated body 10 is packaged in a container 20 with terminals 13a, 13b extended out of the container 20. The container 20 consists of a first pack 21 and a second pack 22, which forms a structure split in the direction of lamination of the laminated body. Each of the first and second packs 21, 22 is formed by interposing a board between resin films, and is provided with each of mating flanges 25, 28 for joining the packs 21, 22 together, and the flanges 25, 28 are formed at the opening periphery except the top edge from which terminals 13a, 13b project. The mating flange 25 of the first pack 21 is placed on the sealing board 46 of the base 42 of a sealing implement, the sealing board 46 is coated with a cushion seat 47, and the laminated body is set on a packaging part of the first pack 21. Then a packaging part of the second pack 22 is matched to the set laminated body to mate the mating flange 28 of the second pack 22 with the mating flange 25 of the first pack 21. In this state, a seal top 51 having a heating function formed on the head 44 of the sealing implement is applied to the mating flange 28 of the second pack 22, which is then brought in pressure contact with the mating flange 25 of the first pack 21, and the contacting mating flanges 25, 28 of the first and second packs 21, 22 are heated to be welded together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
