<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental handpiece for root canal treatment and root canal length measurement which is manufactured at a low cost, is excellent in resistance against disinfectants, and provides stable transmission of measurement signals. <P>SOLUTION: An outer case 2 of a handpiece (1, 100) is constituted of a non-insulating material preferably comprising metallic materials and not equipped with insulation coating. Constitution elements for transmission of measurement signals in the handpiece is electrically charged by contact means (37A, 37B, 60A, 60B) and insulated from the outer case 2 by an insulation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
