PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus for efficiently recording data such as image data and audio data on a memory card such as a flash memory and an HDD unit employing a magnetic hard disk. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus 100 for converting data obtained by imaging into an electric signal for making it an imaging signal, converting digitally the imaging signal into a digital signal and recording it as compressed data with a prescribed format includes a recording and reproducing means that records / reproduces the image data or the audio data to / from the HDD 119 and the memory card 112, and the electronic apparatus 100 executes data recording to the HDD 119 and data recording to the memory card 112 by different recording methods.
