The gas turbine has a rotor with vanes (10) adjoining the housing by radially outer ends (11). To minimize or seal the gap between these ends and the housing at least one slit (12) is inserted in the radially outer ends to contain at least one radially movable sealing element (17). The or each slit in each vane extends between a flow inlet edge (13) and a flow outlet edge (14) over the entire profile length of the relevant vane.
