<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new type fermented alcohol drinks of bear, sparkling liquor, and other miscellaneous liquors, which new type fermented alcohol drinks are added new taste and flavor harmonized with inherent flavor of the fermented alcohol drinks. <P>SOLUTION: The fermented alcohol drinks are imparted new taste and flavor harmonized with inherent flavor of the fermented alcohol drinks and are improved in properties of drinks, such as taste and color inherent to the fermented alcohol drinks, by using degreased cocoa powder, the degreased cocoa powder treated by proteolysis or a preparation thereof, in the method of manufacturing fermented alcohol drinks by using beer yeast. By the method, sulfur-based nasty smell and immature smell, liable to happen in miscellaneous liquors such as sparkling liquor, are suppressed and color can be adjusted.
