PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sausage-manufacturing apparatus solving both problems at the same time, wherein the problems are contamination of food impurities and food leakage, which are caused by breakage of an O-ring set at the joint surface between a food material filling nozzle and a nozzle bearing. SOLUTION: The inner diameters of two O-ring grooves formed inside a through hole provided at a filling nozzle bearing are made different. The O-ring groove of the nozzle inlet side is formed so that the inner diameter of the O-ring is equal to the outer diameter of a cylindrical structural part formed with a filling hole of the filling nozzle. The O-ring groove of the nozzle inlet side is formed to have the inner diameter larger than that of the O-ring groove of the nozzle outlet side to avoid breakage. When filling food material, a filling nozzle having a shape circumscribing the above-mentioned two O-rings is used to prevent food material leakage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
