PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter having allergen resistance, antibiotic activity, antiviral activity, and fungus resistance, composed of a combustible material with a reduced burden on the global environment, and holding integral active ingredients without posttreatment of the filter. SOLUTION: A mixed liquid is obtained by mixing two or more materials selected from a material having allergen resistance, a material having antibiotic activity, a material having an antiviral activity, and a material having fungus resistance. The mixed liquid is applied to a paper liner member 10 and a flute member 13 before a honeycomb structure is formed, so that the highly functional honeycomb filter 17 is obtained.
