摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for peeling and recovering fluorescent materials of waste fluorescent lamp tubes which can efficiently peel and recover fluorescent materials and mercury deposited on fragment of the waste fluorescent light tubes slowly by spending much time while holding a large amount of the fragment in the rotary drum in a simple constitution without requiring any special peeling means or a means in the rotary drum positively transferring the fragment in the inside of the rotary drum when peeling the fluorescent materials from the fragment. SOLUTION: The apparatus is for peeling and recovering the fluorescent materials and mercury from the fragment of the waste fluorescent light tubes. Annular partition walls 3 having an opening part 3a through which the fragment pass from the charging side of the fragment to the discharging side at the center part are arranged at predetermined intervals on the inner peripheral wall of the horizontal rotary drum 2 of a cylindrical shape which houses the fragment in a rough air-tightness. Scraping plates 4 are installed circumferentially in a direction orthogonal to the partition walls 3 at intervals on the partition walls 3. A tubular type sucking member 5 provided in the longitudinal direction of the peripheral wall with a sucking opening which sucks and recovers the fluorescent materials and mercury from the discharging side of the fragment toward the charging side is arranged at the opening part 3a of the partition walls 3.
