The invention is related to a method to send a first type of data packets comprising the steps of : - creation for each data packet of the first type of a time reference corresponding to this packet ; - creation of second type of data packet constituted by a header and a payload, the payload comprising at least one data packet of the first type ; characterized in that, the time references of each data packet of the first type contained in the payload of a packet of the second type are inserted in the header of the packet of the second type.
