<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink which can give printed matter fully proof against curling, can give, especially, easily handleable printed matter on plain paper, can simultaneously attain long-term stability and recording stability in inkjet recording, can give, especially, printed matter having stable recording characteristics and good image characteristics in high-speed printing and to provide an ink tank, a recording unit, an inkjet recording apparatus, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: What is provided is: the water-based ink comprising at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a colorant, the water-soluble organic solvent containing bishydroxyethyl sulfone and at least either a 5C or higher diol and a 5C or higher triol; the ink tank; the recording unit; the inkjet recording apparatus; and the inkjet recording method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
