<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for effectively utilizing bandwidth in a visible light communication system. <P>SOLUTION: Color sensors realize a plurality of data transmission channels between a light source and a light detector. Light of different wavelengths can be simultaneously detected and data modulated to light of respective wavelengths can be independently and simultaneously processed. If desired, data obtained from the light of a selected wavelength can be transferred to an end-user.
