PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search system, taking into consideration the a traffic situation for each drive lane for the route to be searched, as a whole. SOLUTION: The route search system comprises a data storage section 1 for storing road network data for indicating a road system, a traffic situation information acquiring section 2 for acquiring traffic situation information, including traffic situations for each lane, and an arithmetic processing section 3. The arithmetic processing section 3 refers to acquired information by the traffic situation information acquiring section 2 from road network data stored at the data storage section 1, creates a lane system graph to current traffic situations for each lane, and searches for a route from the set departing point to the destination, using the lane system graph created by a graph creation section.
