PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector structure and a connector connection abnormality detection device capable of detecting a connection abnormality between a male terminal and a female terminal including an abnormality of a mechanical fitting state such as the incomplete insertion of a connector. SOLUTION: The slide contact surface 7 of the male terminal 2 is differentiated into the slide contact surface 7a of a resistance value R[Ω] and the slide contact surface 7b of a resistance value 0[Ω], and an electrical characteristic reflecting electric resistance between the male terminal 2 and the female terminal 3, for instance, a potential difference between both ends of a pull-down resistor 14 is measured by a monitoring circuit 13. The slide contact surface 7b on the base side is connected to the female terminal 3 to set the resistance value to 0[Ω] when fitting between the male terminal 2 and the female terminal 3 is in a complete state; the slide contact surface 7a on the tip side is connected to the female terminal 3 to set the resistance value to R[Ω] when the fitting between the male terminal 2 and the female terminal 3 is in an incomplete state (incomplete insertion state); and the resistance value is set to∞[Ω] in a perfect non-fitting state, whereby the fitting state between the male terminal 2 and the female terminal 3 is properly detected by measuring the potential difference between both the ends of the pull-down resistor 14.
