PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door which is reinforced at a meeting stile portion of each sash to improve wind resistance of the sash. SOLUTION: The sliding door 1 is formed of a frame body 10 having a head 11, a sill 12, and right and left jambs, and the sashes 20 slidably fitted in the frame body 10. The sashes 20 include an inner sash arranged on an innermost side and slides along a second rail 11A, an outer sash 23 arranged on an outermost side and slides along a first rail 11C, and an intermediate sash 22 arranged between the inner and outer sashes 21, 23 and slides along a third rail 11B. The intermediate sash 22 has an abutting stile 222 which has a protrusion 61 integrally formed therewith, so as to protrude toward the inside of a room along a depth direction. The protrusion 61 has a groove 61A at an upper portion thereof, with which the rail 11A engages, and therefore the intermediate sash 22 engages with the rails 11A, 11B and the meeting stile 222 is constrained in the depth direction.
