PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gasification-reforming wastes, by which steam can effectively be used as a reforming medium for the gasification-reforming. SOLUTION: This method for gasification-reforming the wastes comprises reforming a gas obtained in a process 1 for gasifying the wastes in a gas-reforming process 2, washing/cooling the reformed gas with a washing liquid in a cooling process 3, and then purifying the gas in a gas-purifying process 4. On the other hand, the washing liquid is cooled by heat exchange with cold water in a heat exchanger 6, and the obtained hot water is sucked with a steam ejector 7 using steam as a driving source. The steam produced in the steam ejector 7 is supplied as a gas-reforming medium into a process 1 for gasification-melting the wastes and/or a process 2 for reforming the gas.
