<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide knockout mice that are unresponsive to peptide glycan, lipoprotein, lipo-peptide and the like which are very useful for elucidating the roles that relate to the individual members of the TLR families to the signal emission by the stimulation of bacterial cell body components in vivo, particularly very useful for elucidating the roles in the TLR2 and MyD88. <P>SOLUTION: The mouse is created by the homologous recombination using the targeting vector constituted by substituting a part or the whole part of the exon site including the intracellular area of TLR2 or MyD88 gene with a plasmid bearing the poly A signal and marker genes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
