PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program display apparatus and a program display method capable of displaying a designated part of a program guide by easily designating a date and time desired by a user from whole information so as to make the handling by the user convenient. SOLUTION: A date and time designation switching menu arranged with a plurality of unit designation regions 73 is displayed by dividing a plane for expressing a particular date and time range comprising a date axis and a time axis by units of date and a prescribed time. When a prescribed unit designation region 73 is selected on the date and time designation switching menu, an electronic program guide of a part corresponding to the date and time designated by the selected unit designation region 73 is displayed on a screen.
