PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater fluorescent lamp of water-pressure resistant type capable of using under high water-pressure. SOLUTION: A cylindrical globe 4 for housing a light source 3 is constructed of a globe main body 5 of synthetic resin at the center part and a globe frame 6 of metal at the end part, and a lid member 8 of metal is installed by screwing at the globe frame 6 so as to close watertight the opening at the globe 4 end part, and an opposed face 20 opposed to the end face of the globe frame 6 is provided at the lid member 8, and seal member 15, 17 are respectively provided at the spiral connection part of these globe frame 6 and the lid member 8 and between the end face of the globe frame 6 and the opposed face 20.
