PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of suppressing a variation in image caused by the temperature difference between heads of a recorder equipped with two or more recording heads and the temperature difference between ink-jet units and of stably performing a recording with a high quality of image while of realizing an energy-saving. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recorder is provided with the recording head equipped with two or more nozzles for delivering ink-droplets through a heat energy, two or more temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of each of a plurality of ink-jet units of the same recorder for forming images using the plurality of recording heads and a printing control means for stopping a printing if the difference between either temperature of the two or more recording heads and the highest temperature among the ones of the plurality of recording heads exceeds the designated temperature.
