<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system or the like which can detect a state that a printed matter is left in a paper discharge tray for a long time, by arranging an RFID reading means near the paper discharge tray, and which can notify a user of this. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of carrying out printing, an RFID tag reading writing part 40 writes document information including user identification information of the user who is a requester of the printing as RFID tag information into an RFID tag of a printing paper supplied for the printing. After the printing ends, an RFID reading part 78 monitors the presence or absence of the printed matter discharged in the paper discharge tray 79. If the printed matter is detected even after a predetermined time passes from the discharge of the printed matter, a CPU outputs a notification which indicates the printing completion or a notification which requests taking out of the printed matter to the user of the user identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
