PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a bus interface by selecting a bus protocol capable of performing data transfer between modules appropriately. SOLUTION: In a bus interface design support apparatus 1, a plurality of bus protocols assumed to be a design object are stored as library (bus protocol library). Based on a design condition including a required data transfer speed and circuit scale, an appropriate bus protocol is selected from the bus protocol library, and thus, the bus interface is designed. Accordingly, it becomes possible to automatically generate the bus interface by selecting the bus protocol capable of performing data transfer between the modules appropriately.
