PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projector that can reproduce video, by directing a projection head to a screen arranged at an arbitrary position and projecting video light and separates and moves a heat generating part from the projection head so as to eliminate the need for installing the projection head with a cooling means. SOLUTION: A light source 23 and a liquid crystal panel 25 are arranged in a drive unit 19, the liquid crystal display panel 25 is lit up by the light source 23 from the back surface side, and video light formed by the liquid crystal display panel 25 is guided to an auxiliary screen 31 in the projection head 15 through an optical fiber bundle 30 inserted into a flexible arm 20 and imaged.
