PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture and provide a hollow fiber membrane module capable of being easily hydrophilized even if the module is made of a hydrophobic membrane, having no dead space, not causing an error in detecting a true leaking site in a leak test using air pressure and having an amine content not higher than a specified value right after manufacture, the TOC (total organic carbon) value of which module can be reduced to a specified value or lower in a short time after manufacture. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane module is made by bonding both ends of a hollow fiber membrane with adhesives, and at least one of the adhesives on a sealed side permeates into the interior of the hollow fiber membrane.
