PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record updated file system information without changing the logical address. SOLUTION: As shown in the upper column of Fig. 18, when data is recorded, and a file recorded in area B112 (files(stream+DB)) is updated, the updated file is recorded in area B112' as shown in the intermediate column of Fug. 18. Simultaneously with this, the main FS (FS(Metadata)), information on the volume structure in the inner circumference, and anchor information which have been recorded in area B111 are disabled to be red out and newly generated file system information (FS(Metadata)), information on the volume structure in the inner circumference, and anchor information are recorded in area B111' on the ISA as an SA area of the inner circumference.
