PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel with a lock mechanism constituted so that the lock mechanism may not be fixed at one point in the lens barrel, whereby lock is not released even when it is used under vibration, the divergence of focus is not caused and force by tightening for lock is prevented from being exerted on a rotating member related to adjustment. SOLUTION: The lens barrel with the lock mechanism includes a fixed barrel, an adjusting ring which is slidably attached to the fixed barrel in order to positionally adjust an optical member in an optical axis direction, a plurality of lock screws which are screwed in a plurality of screw holes made in parallel with the optical axis direction on one end side of the fixed barrel and provided with a lock screw rotational force transmitting part parallel with the optical axis direction on the one end side, and a lock operation ring which is slidably attached to the end of the fixed barrel and has an engaging part rotationally engaged with the lock screw rotational force transmitting part on the one end side on the inner surface.
