PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling cutter in which minute adjustment of the position of a blade chip in a tool axial direction is easily implemented so that high precision in the swinging of a cutting blade is attained. SOLUTION: In a milling cutter, an attachment seat 36 is placed on a concave part 34 which is formed around the external circumference of the tip of an almost disc-shaped tool body and designed to rotate around the axial line, and a cutting blade chip 33 is fitted detachably to the attachment seat 36 so as to closely contact with a fitting surface. An adjustment panel 38, extending from the tool body in the almost radial direction, is installed on the tool base side of the attachment seat 36. The cutting blade chip 33 is fixed to the attachment seat 36 through a clamp screw 40 in such a state that the surface facing the tool base side of the blade chip 33 abuts on the adjustment panel 38. An adjustment screw 45 is threaded on the tool base side of the adjustment panel 38 so that the adjustment screw 45 comes out from the external circumference surface of the tool body in the almost radial direction and adjusts the position of the blade chip 33 in the tool axial direction by achieving the flexible deformation of the adjustment panel 38 through screw movement.
