PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a folding operation can not be quickly performed depending on the turning direction of an operation rod and a top plate and it is dangerous when clothes are clamped. SOLUTION: For the foldable table, the top plate 4 is pivotally attached to the upper part of a leg body 2 so as to be freely swung to a horizontal state and a roughly vertical state, a roughly chevron-shaped tilting member 15 composed of a locking plate 17 and an operation part 16 is pivotally attached to the lower surface of the top plate 4, and two locking grooves 19 and 20 to be engaged and disengaged to/from a locking pin 18 provided on the upper part of the leg body 2 are separately installed on the upper surface of the locking plate 17. The operation part 16 is formed so as to be freely swung in the proximity direction of the top plate 4 and the locking grooves 19 and 20 are engaged with the locking pin 18 by energizing the operation part 16 in the non-proximity direction. Also, a sliding surface between the two locking grooves 19 and 20 is formed to be lower than the upper surface of the locking plate 17 and the locking pin 18 is formed so as to be freely slid on the sliding surface 21. Thus, the operation part 16 and the top plate 4 are turned and folded in the same direction and the operation part 16 is separated from the top plate 4 by the sliding surface 21 of the locking plate 17 and a spring.
