In the determination of a pipe (1) curvature, the flexible tractive component (4) connected to the frame (3) with the inclination meter can be drawn downwards from the upper side in the pipe and then drawn upwards again. The frame has guiding components (7,8,9) which, during its downwards and upwards movements, guide it along the pipe wall. The tractive component has such a torsion resistance that during the downward and upward drawing of the frame it is not subject to torsion, so that extra guiding devices in the pipe are superfluous. The tractive component is preferably formed as a spiral spring, but may also be tubular or rod-shaped, and preferably of plastic. As another alternative, the tractive component can be formed as a strap with a width allowing it to fit within the diameter of the pipe. It is preferably made of steel, but may also be made of woven plastic.
|
