PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a speaker having a small diameter and capable of reproducing a bass sound without distortion and a sound having faithful to an input signal. SOLUTION: A speaker 30 attached on a speaker system 20 includes a conical diaphragm 42. One end side of a cylindrical wall material 54 is fixed on the end of the large diameter side of the diaphragm 42. The internal wall of the wall material 54 is formed so as to be parallel to a vibration direction of the diaphragm 42. An audio signal is inputted into a voice coil 52, thereby allowing the diaphragm 42 to vibrate in a direction substantially orthogonal to one surface 22a of a cabinet 22 together with the wall material 54. In this way, the air in front of the diaphragm 42 is compressed, and the compressed air is released, and thus, impact thereof propagates and is sensed as a sound.
