摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structure in which an electrode short is hardly caused even when a tuning fork type flexural vibration crystal piece is made small-sized. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the electrode shape of a tuning fork type flexural vibration crystal piece wherein a 1st exciting electrode is provided on both top and reverse main surfaces of a 1st leg part and inner and outer flanks of a 2nd leg part of a channel-shaped tuning fork type flexural vibration crystal piece having the two leg parts and a base part connecting the two leg parts to connect them in common and a 2nd exciting electrode is provided both top and reverse main surfaces of the 2nd leg and inner and outer sides of the 1st leg part to connect them respectively, the electrode shape being characterized in that the 1st exciting electrode formed on the top main surface of the 1st leg part and the interior side of the 2nd leg part is connected to the interior side of the 2nd leg part nearby a u-shaped groove end of the 2nd leg part from a channel-shaped part groove end of the tuning fork type flexural vibration crystal piece through the base part side top main surface about the channel-shaped part groove end and no exciting electrode is provided from the connection electrode on the top main surface of the 2nd leg part where the connection electrode is formed to the base part side.
