PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-travelling apparatus capable of travelling at a high-priority place by detecting the residual capacity of a battery in starting the travelling. SOLUTION: A battery capacity detection means 14 detects the residual capacity of the battery 13 for driving a travelling means 10. An optimum travelling path is set from the travelling paths stored on a storage means 16 by referring to the value. This permits the travelling having higher priority set by a user.
