PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a program for assisting in changing conversion rules to provide optimum conversion rule data. SOLUTION: The apparatus for assisting in changing conversion rules includes a correction sensing means 11 for reading a repository storage part 24 upon the correction of second model data, so that the identifier of the corrected second model data and the identifier of conversion rule data used in conversion into the corrected second model data are stored in a correction information storage part 21 in association with each other; a change detection means 12 for storing in a correction target detection information storage part 22 the identifier of the second model data associated with the identifier of the conversion rule data stored in the correction information storage part 21; and a rule change determination means 13 for determining whether or not the identifiers of the second model data in the correction target detection information storage part 22 need to be changed, then storing the results, then determining whether to change the conversion rule data used in the conversion of the second model data or to correct the second model data, and storing the result in a correction determination result information storage part 23.
